@morganjen I tried the Neocell Collagen powder & I just could not take it. The smell & taste was horrible even though most people say there is no smell or taste there was for me. I kept gagging when I tried to drink it.
@Nightowlz that was my experience way back when when I tried the Neocell collagen. I can tolerate alot of nasty tasting stuff but I could NOT get that stuff down. I was shocked at all the reviews about it not having any smell or taste as I had both, especially a taste, that I just could not tolerate.
@HappyDaze That stuff is nasty. I could smell it & taste it. I had to hold my nose & try to swollen it down & kept gagging. I also could not believe all the people that said there was no taste or smell. I guess my sense of smell & taste must be high compared to others.

I don't drink orange juice either. Originally, I used Emergen-C but now I'm using a Shaklee dissolveable C tablet that is fizzy. Get my C plus hide any taste there might be. ![]()

@SeaMaiden wrote:There is cheaper Lipowheat on the market.....do your homework. It is a trademark Lipowheat at 350 mg a soft gel that many labels use...the added biotin is cheap to add. Andrew over charges on most all of his formulas. Buyer beware. I have been thinking about trying phyto ceraminds, for one of my dogs, she has itchy skin, tried so many things.

@goldensrbest My Lola also in the warmer summer months has this itchy thing going on as well. Every summer for as long as we have had her, she starts getting itchy about June through August... once the cooler weather sets in the itchness settle down. I feel that she has sensitivites to pollens and grass.. plus she might pick up a flea or something from the grass when she is playing in it. I use topical safe products for fleas that have flea killing abilities without toxins.. I NEVER USE THE OVER THE COUNTER FLEA PRODUCTS. Pyrethins are the best and safest with least possiblity of toxicity.
You could try the lipowheat... one a day... why not?
Here is my protocol for lola when itchy:
( I ) 25 mg benadryl tablet twice a day.( very safe... works very well when she is the most itchy)
Vets Best Brand Allergy formula( a chewable tablet I buy from Fosters and Smith.( as per instructions on bottle)
1/2 a 500 mg B-5 capsule once a day in her food( works like a natural cordisone in the body without the bad side effects- really good for itcy dogs!)
Topically Theraneem brand aloe gel and or lotion on belly or wherever she is biting. Very soothing.
Right now Lola is Not itchy at all.... October when the cool weather is now here. So I know it is somehow related to the time of year.
