Yes, there is a problem with prescription Lasartan.  United Health prescription warehouse was out of stock but never advised me.  I got suspicious after a week of not receiving....called warehouse again.......got the scoop and told to get it at a local drug store.

Had to call doctor to phone in permission to fill

But drug store didn't have it either - after 4 days DS delivered 90 day supply.

No idea what's going on - but I'm set for 3 months.

@Luvsmyfam    Losartan is prescribed very often in many different doses and yes, I have had problems occasionally with shortages, but usually the shortage is for a few days.  None recently although I do know my pharmacy has marked this drug as a FAST MOVER and tries to fill scripts as early as insurance will pay rather than waiting until I run out.

Losartan was one of the many meds on the tainted recall list more than a year ago.

My husband and I take Losartan; our meds are filled thru the VA system.   My husband received his 90 supply as usual, while I was only receiving a 30 day supply of this medication at a time.  In February I finally received a 90 day supply; first time in more than a year.

This is one of the things I worry about.  What if China cuts us off?  I wish the government would try to get more pharm manufacturing going here!

I'm on the lowest dose of Losartan, auto refill every 90 days, haven't had a problem getting it.  I'm supposed to be coming off if it soon.  Hope so anyway.

I got my 90 day supply of Losartan last week from CVS. It was one of those automated refills, but there was no delay.

I've had problems w/BP meds. In 2020 they were having problems getting Losartan, so doc put me on a different one, now that one is not available & now I'm on a 3rd one.
