I was thinking about this and remembered I bought a brand sold on the Q.  I searched and found it less at Wal-Mart.

@GCR18, just like I found a perfectly acceptable version of the Bodyblade at Walmart for around $20. ;-)

@cotton4me,

If your husband is a veteran, check with his provider at the VA before buying anything.    My husband cannot use our Max Trainer elliptical stepper due to neuropathy, but is able to use a pedal exerciser, which he received free of charge thru the VA.

I bought the Pedal Trainer Pro from QVC2 last week. Did anyone buy it? I am trying to find out if the monitor is in kilometers? There is a letter 'k' on the monitor by where it shows the speed. QVC does not know I tried them. The manufacturer's customer service rep. does not know and she was going to have someone from tech support to give me a call. That was 2 days ago. I don't see a way to change it to miles. I will have to return. It is a shame that QVC sells products but cannot answer a question about it or even try to find out. I just about had it with QVC.

@iknowmaybe

If you like it other than the reason you mentioned, do this. I've exercised and trained for competitions for many decades, including specified distance races(10k/5/k/etc), I very seldom trained, then or now, using mileage as a criteria.

I exercise/train by time spent, and seldom even check the mileage, and all my machines measure in both miles and kilometers. Forget miles/kilometers and use time spent. To me, miles are nothing more than a gage way too many use to measure progress. Unless one is racing a specific distance(miles) ran/skated, using miles in amount of time means very little.

have significant arthritis bilateral knees, hips and spine.  having diffculty with stiff knees when standing up from desk at work.  ordered Cubii Jr from QVC and put it under my desk at work.  I pedal away while working and when I stand to walk, much less stiffness/balance issues.  it's working great!
