GoodRx has an app. The app will produce a card or coupon.

Re: Part D: Mine not always paying

I have regular Medicare (which I love, by the way) and have the Part D.  It's a total waste of money, in my opinion.

I use the Good Rx coupon which always comes out cheaper than my insurance.

Medicare "makes" you pay for Part D when you sign up otherwise they penalize you the longer you go without it.

Re: Part D: Mine not always paying

Most chain pharmacies have their own discount drug programs as well. The pharmacy I work in does. Usually the 200 most commonly prescribed drugs are dispensed at discount rates, such as a 30 day supply for $9.99 or a 90 day supply for $15.99.   We commonly offer this to patients if we find their copay to be high for a given drug.  We find that Good Rx almost always does not compete with our price or even most insurance prices.  Ask your pharmacy technician or pharmacist for help.  I encourage people to stay at one pharmacy rather than shop around for the best price for any one particular  drug. The pharmacist is a healthcare professional who is trained to spot red flags, such as drug-drug interactions.  If one gets many different drugs at more than one pharmacy, this capability is not available, as HIPAA prhobits us from accessing your profile from another pharmacy.

Yes, just download the app and search your med. You will be given prices for various pharmacies in your area. Then you can text or email your coupon. We don't even print the coupon just show to the store. Had no problem using at Walgreens. Costco usually comes up as one of the lowest and I understand that you can use Costco pharmacy without being a member..not sure?

I cannot imagine the cost to those with complex or multiple Rx's.

The poster before you works in pharmacy. She suggests buying medicine from one drug store. I use CVS.

@granddi the Costco we go to has a sign up at the entrance stating that you don't need a membership for the pharmacy, it's open to all.

Part D is not always paying and not the best choice for many scripts.
