Hi Ladies -

Hope everyone is doing well. I'd like to hopefully get some feedback from someone who may have had experience with parathyroid issues. I've had a myriad of symptoms over the last 10+ years that doctors have never been able to figure out the cause of. Symptoms ranging from hair loss to kidney stones, fatigue to unintentional weight fluctuations. I'm only 30 years old, but I know my body and have been searching for answers for years. Anyway, my doctor tested my PTH (parathyroid) hormone last week and it came back abnormal, but my calcium was in the normal range. He's testing me again this week, but I was wondering if anyone has ever had issues with their parathyroid? If so, would you mind sharing your experience? I'd like to talk with someone other than a doctor for once about these health issues, especially someone who may have gone through it. I know that surgery is the cure, but I'm wondering if it could be my parathyroid even though my calcium is in the normal range with a PTH that is out of range. Again, I know this isn't a medical board and I'm not looking for a diagnosis over the computer, rather someone who may be able to offer insight. Thank you for reading - hoping to hear from you!

Take care. Be well.
