.Paging Halfpint................

Halfpint: I am so sorry I caused your thread to be hijacked. I should have seen it coming. I know you had your appt. today and am curious as to what the doctor said. I hope you're feeling better and it's nothing serious.

Again, please excuse me for de-railing your thread. I promise to never do that again. Smile

Re: .Paging Halfpint................

Sophiamarie I don't know exactly what you mean.

The doctor was nice. He gave me an exam that was never done to me. Said I had good blood flow down to my ankles. My blood pressure was high and I took my meds before I left home. Maybe it was the pain. Anyway he is ordering an MRI. He gave me a prescription for Celebrex, don't know if that will be good or bad. He also said an epidurmal shot later. I lave little knowledge about them. I read something here and it had mixed reactions. Again thanks for your caring.

Celebrex isn't covered. It is $200-too much to try. Waiting to see if there is a generic or ?

I personally would not take anything until after the MRI, and there is a diagnosis.

I agree totally. I was just signing in to tell you the same thing.

Is there any way you can see a Vascular Surgeon? It's always good to get another opinion.

halfpint: When is your MRI and please come back and let us know the results..... Hope all is okay...Smile

Re: .Paging Halfpint................

I have to wait for referrals to see anyone besides my gp so I don't know when. I am also waiting for a surgeon to take my skin cancer out of my leg. A lot of small problems with this old lady.
