HI Abby, My surgery went off without a hitch last Tuesday and on Friday I was transfered to the nursing/rehab place. I've been doing a lot of exercising to build up muscle and walked for the first time Monday. I walked 65 ft and was quite proud of myself. I hope to go home Friday but don't know that I've walked enough. I'm actually enjoying my stay here as the staff is well-trained and friendly, the facility is immaculate and attractive. The food is horid but I can afford to miss a meal or two.

In answer to my prayers, a cleaning lady appeared in my life two days before I went to the hospital and she has been cleaning and organizing my stuff this whole week.

I've been thinking about you. Report back when you're able.
