drizzella, i was on the same medication as you for almost 2 years and it affected my hands the most. I couldn't even open a sandwich baggie and had to ask for help. I got trigger fingers and had shots for those, I even had to have surgery on my thumb. I finally told the doctor I wouldn't take it anymore and was put on Femara. It was a lot better for me. I did lose hair while on the drugs and it has never returned as thick as it was. Was hoping after the 5 years it would. I only did 5 years because of the side effects. About 2 years ago my oncologist said taking the drug for a longer period of time may help. I told him no I don't want the side effects. Last year when I went in he said I was right about not taking the drug longer. Said they found there is no benefit.

Yes the side effects are very scary. I try not to read them if I have to take the medication.
Once my Doctor told me that it is required by law to put all possible side effects on them. He said that if you read the side effects of even OTC medications there will be possible side effects.
