@CherryHugs

All I will say about this is the following.

Seems like everything these days CAN fall into the "Addiction Category", which to me minimizes the trauma suffered by those with well known REAL ADDICTIONS.

Natural Peanut Butter has, and still is, a major part of my food program, and I consume it almost every single day. Yes, I been way overweight, Yes, I have lost and gained a lot of weight. Why? Because I ate more "fuel" than my body burned. Sure, it is harder for some than for others, BUT! It is EASY for No Person.

Addiction? Please, that insults my intelligence. That is my feeling and I am open to any rational discussion with those that think differently. At this point I have read ONLY the title of @CherryHugs thread, and not 1 single reply.

Let 'er rip!!!

Weight control is a lifestyle and for many, including yours truly, it goes on every single day of our life, we all have to make choices. You are far from being alone with weight control. If you are able to walk? Do it while you still can, many over time, lose that ability. PB addiction? Won't be long and some will say it's a disease!

Hey @CLEM,

Most people, I'm guessing now, love to eat. I managed over decades to go from "loving" to "liking" to just eating to give my body the fuel that allows it to move in the things I love to do. Feeling good and physically fit, for me now, is much more of a pleasure than eating.  Was/is it easy? HE!! NO              =^..^=

Re: PB Addicition and Weight Gain

I eat peanut butter with breakfast every day. It was one of the few foods I could tolerate when recovering from digestive problems. I never ate much PB before.

As part of my food plan, peanut butter has helped me regain a lot of the weight I lost, so it has been of great value to me.

Hi John, that is exactly what I am striving for  and I have been good all my life.  So why is it so hard now?

Re: PB Addicition and Weight Gain

Never was a big fan of peanut butter, but now it has become part of my breakfast. One piece of toast spread with peanut butter, along with a half cup of coffee is what I often eat at 6am. We'll occasionally go out for breakfast and then I choose oatmeal or French toast.

@CLEM,

Hi there! Just my thoughts on your reply. The longer the "habit", or way of life, the harder it becomes to change or even alter. Now don't go thinking I'm gonna let you blame it on one's chronological age, hear now?    =^..^=

As I mentioned, it was really, really hard, even for "Mr. Easy" here. Now for some strange reason, many people in my life, think it was/is easy for me, why?  I have no idea.  They are just dead wrong.
