Osteo in Foot -- Any Options?

My rheum said this is in one of my feet. I'm going to see him for follow up in a couple weeks and it does hurt with a sharp pain at times, especially if I walk a lot (even in comfort shoes).

Are there injections for this I could ask him about? Wondering if anyone has found relief esp. when they are trying to remain active.
