He ordered six weeks of physical therapy for strengthening. Also a bone density test and some labs to see if I need medication for bone health. And said keep my cane handy so I don't fall.

He said this is all a result of my advancing age.

Glad your knee implant is intact and no addtl surgery. I hope the therapy helps as well. They say "age ain't nothing but a number" but my 75 yo bones are aching as well ! I had 2 knee replacements on my right knee, 2019 and due to a staph infection a repeat in 2020 during Covid. I'm having right leg and hip pain, knee swelling and neuropathy in my right foot with sometimes not feeling my foot on the gas pedal !  Recent x rays knee and hip were neg, no bone density or PT ordered

So glad your knee implant is solid, if you want, let us know how your bone density results came out and the plan to help you feel better. I'm not on a cane but I try to walk for exercise and to keep these old bones a moving !!  Keeping you in my prayers !!

What a very sweet and kind post. Thank you. I am speeding toward 75 so i know what you mean. I wonder why you're having neuropathy but glad to hear the xrays were negative.

My issues with neuropathy are ongoing due to type 2 diabetes for many many years and not going anywhere unfortunately so I've learned to live with it Woman LOL

but I'm off diabetes meds and managed by diet alone.  I do hope therapy helps and you are much better very soon.
