@smoochy what kind of surgeries?  Any knee replacements?  You might need an MRI Xrays usually are a starting point which can show arthritis.  It might be coming from another area like the hip or back.  Keep us posted all the best!

In 1976 i had my first surgery to correct chronic dislocation. In 2015, a full replacement. 2019, revision of the failing replacement. 2021, another full replacement.

It almost takes an act of congress to get an MRI because with my pacemaker, it has to be done in the hospital with a pacer company tech present to set my device to safe mode. They are backed up for months as my regional hospital is the only one who does pacemaker patients. I dont like being this special, haha

Thanks for the good thoughts and yep, I will def keep you posted

ok here's what happened at my appt:

my knee implant is solid, no issues with it.

The pain I'm getting is from my old bones thinning. So the portion of the implant that is in my thigh bone is now closer to the surface.therefore I can feel it. Something like that. My leg keeps buckling due to weak muscles.

He ordered six weeks of physical therapy for strengthening. Also a bone density test and some labs to see if I need medication for bone health. And said keep my cane handy so I don't fall.

He said this is all a result of my advancing age.
