Thanks, Vabelle. Smiley Happy I've used whole flaxseed before, but I will look for the ground. I've used and loved many Bob's Redmill products over the years. Smiley Happy

That is the brand I use as well. I always throw some in my green smoothies and in many healthy muffin recipes. There are companies that utilize the whole seed, mix with garlic for instance, to sprinkle on foods. Love to do this on whole wheat pasta with olive oil and parm. Have a couple of other "flavours", i.e. whole seeds mixed with maple flavour, cinnamon that I sprinkle on steel cut oats. Lots of options, delicious options out there to get your omegas.

The best omega is from fish, the omega from flax seed is good and really moves things through your digestive system. I take the omega from Andrew Lessman and it's the best I've ever taken, no fishy after taste or reflux.

I buy this brand at Costco. Love it. DH and I eat it in our oatmeal each day.

Just throwing this out there.....Flaxseed can be very good for a lot of people, but there are some precautions regarding its use. Because my mom had macular degeneration, I avoid flaxseed and take Krill Oil instead. If you are on any prescription meds, you need to watch not to take them and the supplement around the same time, too. You might like the read the following article:
