Update--I actually got in for the MRI needed on my back, on Friday! Nothing yet about the results but will find out on Wednesday--hopefully can do a virtual appt instead of Ubering in to the office. and just maybe----this will all be taken care of before the  new year and the increase in medical $$

@wagirl    is this the first MRI for your back issues?  our good friend is a orthopedic spinal specialist and he begins with an X-ray and an MRI on the first visit. hope this gives you some answers that help you get pain relief

@mrshckynut --- I initially had Xrays done after I hurt my spine, and all was clear as far as compression fractures were concerned. So continued with my chiro adjustments--which did a good job but its more like a continuing thing-- so that's when I decided to have it checked out--- it doesn't really hurt but I can still feel something. and the next step was the MRI--the xrays found an area of arthritis and narrowing at an old injury site from years before. I didn't go to a specialist for the xrays. I am now. Thanks---

Update!! Just got off the phone about the results from the MRI I had a week ago--there was no damage done after stepping down very hard that jammed up my spine. No disc damage just signs of arthritis and that is normal at my age. Just irritated that area is all. Good news and a good lumbar brace is probably my next purchase.
