One of my eye specialists recommended Zaditor. Hope this helps.

I went right for the prescription kind. The OTC didn't do much for me unfortunately.

Refresh eye lubricant; comes in individual plastic ampules which makes it nice if you want to keep a few in your handbag when you're away from home. I buy them at my grocery store.

Similasan ! I have tried many, even a prescription. Always go back to these - the best thing out there. Even my own eye doc swears by them -for his own use!

All I know is that none of the eye doctors I've ever dealt with accept the use of any drops that say they reduce redness. That makes my dry eye worse.

I go to a Retina Specialist for my macular degeneration and after I get my shot, he gives me two boxes of drops. The last time, he gave me Refresh Ultra and this week he gave me "Blink tears"...... I have also used Systane and found them to be very effective too. I like Refresh because it has individual "servings". I fear infection, so I like the throw-aways..... HTH

My eye doc recommends this one as well.
