Prayers and healing thoughts being sent to your mom.

Thank you so much. ❤️

She's really had a rough go of it lately, falling a lot.

@cheriere  I hope everything goes well for your mom and I am praying for her. Apologies if this seems intrusive, but because she is falling a lot, based on my experience with my grandmother, I would recommend that you take her for a complete check-up with a gp. Her frequent falls may be a symptom that she suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or “mini-stroke.” Mini strokes are brief, people who have them may recover quickly without noticing that anything happened.  This happened to my grandmother and a neighbor.

According to the CDC, although brief, a TIA is a sign of a serious condition that will not go away without medical help. Unfortunately, because TIAs symptoms, clear up, the person doesn't notice, and people ignore them. But they are treatable. So you may want to have a full check-up to make sure she doesn’t have this and is going untreated.

Hope this helps.

@cheriere ----I really don't remember--think probably at least a month maybe 6 weeks?? You'd be surprised how much you use both hands/arms to turn that steering wheel.  I yelped a couple of times -----thought with my left wrist broken I could do it all with just my right one---nope!!!! Oowie!!

Re: ORTHOPEDIC VISIT FOR MOM

@cheriere ----No am thinking she will not be able to do that stuff for awhile--if it is broken and needs surgery-- have to tell you, it is really, REALLY painful!!! Maybe she will have to do her shopping online and have it delivered to her. Was a full month after surgery until  I was able to get comfortable to even sleep at night. I only took OTC pain meds--but should have taken the drs meds. But hoping it is nothing that serious!!

Re: ORTHOPEDIC VISIT FOR MOM

@cheriere , well wishes for your mom that all she will need is a cast and no surgery. My late mother fell many years ago and did a job on her elbow and that required surgery. Prayers for you and your mom and let us know how she makes out.
