I am just adding a thought. From my driver ed days I was under the impression that you do not have to immediately "pull over." Certain circumstances, it is not safe. You simply slow down, indicate you are pulling over and then do so when you know you are in a safe place. It is that way in Maryland. Perhaps other states do not follow that policy.

But she did see the lights and thought they were for somebody else so she didn't pull over. Either way when I see lights of any kind from an Emergency Vehicle (fire truck, cop, ambulance) I pull over and get out of their way. If she did that - she would of seen that it was for her?

I am sure he was ticked that she didn't pull over right away.

I didn't think he was after me, AND I was in the left lane and there was traffic on the right, they weren't pulling over, so there was NO way I could have either! Yes, he was ticked I didn't pull over, what did he expect me to do?? I didn't say anything to him..I could see he was angry and it wouldn't have done any good. It was awful..thats all I can say. I wanted to defend myself..glad I didn't.
