I'm happy to say she was able to have the surgery Tuesday morning and it went very well.  Everything is going exactly as expected and she's doing well, in good spirits and eager to recover Smiley Happy  

 

This is an exhausting process, although I hate to even hardly say that since I'm not the one lying in the hospital bed.  Starting to relax a bit though since she's doing so nicely!  All is good!

@SassyLassy I went through this with my Dad a few years ago. It's definitely exhausting for everyone but it gets easier. They didn't even send my Dad to a rehab place which wuld have driven him crazy.
