I prefer capsules over tablets.

I just bought B Complex yesterday & now look to see only 20 mg of B6 in 2 capsules, too low
I am curious as what anyone knows, all I know is I want more B6 & folic acid is usually around 400 mg

That's the problem. Most B-Complex vitamins are not formulated in the right ratios. I have an old Adelle Davis book somewhere that explains the correct amounts. I need to find it. I'm going to google for the information too. Meanwhile, I was hoping some knowledgeable posters would have some recommendations.

Are you looking for 50 mg. or 100 mg? And how much folic acid - 400 mcg or 800 mcg?

From what I have found so far, the B vitamins work together and it is not a good idea to just increase one of them or just take one by itself. From the formulas I have looked at the amounts are way over the top and so much more than the RDAs. I understand that RDAs are often not enough but over a 1,000 % doesn't seem right either.
I didn't remember this is such a complicated subject.

I like the brand Solgar B Complex 50mg. It it a capsule and has 400 mcg of Folic acid in it.
