These are all healthy foods but pain killers they are not. Cauliflower once gave me the worst heartburn I ever had in my life.  I can't imagine how much celery one would have to eat to relieve a headache - it would do a number on one's digestive tract in the process.  Tumeric is known to be rich in phytonutrients, and like chia seeds, is considered a superfood, and berries and citrus fruits are obviously beneficial to our health.  But being beneficial to health is one thing, and being a pain killer is entirely another.  Lets appreciate good food for what it can do for us, and not make claims for what it cannot.

@northiie57

Obviously, we know you can't post a link, but .... how about a source?

This could have come from anywhere.

Be careful with grapefruit. It binds with an enzyme in the small intestine and that enzyme is what helps certain medications.

It's well known, and has been since ancient times, that food can provide relief for all kinds of things.

I eat certain foods every day to help alleviate my arthritis. I still ache but it's nothing like it was before I added certain foods to my diet. I don't have trouble walking my dog anymore. My hands are somewhat better too.

I was having trouble with my memory and assumed it was the due to the stress and grief of losing 5 family members and 3 friends within 14 months. My dr referred me to a memory specialist just to be sure.

Amyloid is a chemical in the brain that causes Alzheimer's. We all have some and the amount can vary from day to day. But too much is very bad.

My test results were high but not quite to a diagnosis level. The memory doctor gave me a list of foods to eat and other actions to take that help reduce amyloid.

I've been doing what the memory doctor said and can tell a difference myself.

I go back tomorrow for another memory test and I'm pretty confident it'll be better than last August.

Read my other post.

Like I said before, it's been known since anciet times that certain foods help with certain conditions. People in the U.S. have shorter life spans than other countries, especially those whose diets are better and those who use food to help with conditions.
