John, read a lot of your posts and enjoyed them very much, you answered one of mine about my ankle this week. Thank you. I hope you and your DW weather this latest storm on your health issues. As with the other posters, you and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you both peace to heal and thrive.

Oh no John, I'm so sorry. Hugs and prayers to you both.

I thought of you this morning when I heard about the storms in Nebraska, wondered if you got hit. Crazy weather here in the central plains.

I know you want to take care of your wife but remember, you can't do that if you don't take care of yourself.

So sorry to hear about your wife's illness, hope it is not too serious, and that she is soon on the road to recovery. It is worrisome, I know. Also, storm damage on top of that. A lot to deal with all at the same time. My thoughts are with you both.

John,

I'm so incredibly sad to hear of Cindy's illness and hospitalization and pray that her team of clinicians will be able to get to the nitty gritty and come up with a treatment plan that will help her liver heal.

And, prayers for you as well, as you grapple with Cindy's challenges, and those wrought by Mother Nature with baseball size hail.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Cindy.

I am sorry and as many medical problems my DH has had, the anxiety is terrible. Do I understand that she is in the E.R.? I just know that working in a hospital for 25 years, if heart attack/stroke is ruled out and liver enzymes are high, most times a patient would be discharged and told to follow up with their primary care physician.

Why was she admitted?

Best of luck to you both.

John, I'm sorry to hear about Cindy. I will keep good thoughts and healing prayers coming her way.

I'm also sorry you are dealing with some house issues after the storms.
