Micro Fracture Surgery

Has any one had any experience with this procedure? My husband is having it, in addition to mensicus surgery, and am curious to hear what we can expect. Thanks in advance.

Is he having sinuplasting in which microfractures are created to open up certain sinuses. Or, has he sustained microfractures of the tibia?

It is on his knee...my understanding (which is limited) is small fractures will be made on the knee cap to encourage new cartilige growth.
