She proabably met her deductible after both procedures. I know my vaginal ultrasounds are a lot of money. But they are covered after deductible.

@VaBelle35, I don't know what specific type of procedure or test your mother needs, but if she has Part B, they do cover a Pap every 24 months if not high risk. If high risk or need for screening due to past problems they will pay for a Pap every year.
However, the gyn doc must accept Medicare assignment. You might want to make sure that isn't the issue.

@pitdakota She had to have a pelvic ultrasound and then a D&C.

@VaBelle35, did she have the surgery as an outpatient and go home the same day or was she admitted to the hospital overnight?
