If it's for pain, it is going to make you tired. All pain medicine will make you tired. I go to Drs who specialize in relieving pain. They won't prescribe that because they said it doesn't relieve debilitating pain.
But getting back to your question. They tell me all pain medicine will make a person feel tired. Wasn't this explained to you before you started taking it?

nana,
try a different oil. they are all a little different. depending what state you are in, you may even have to go into one of those "shops" with the green cross. they have quite the selection where i am. you'd be suprized who you see in there. try online also. i guess it depends on what state you are in tho.

@nana59 If you are taking "medical" cannabis.....do you know the ratio of CBD to THC? You might want to ask about a 4:1 with the 4 representing the CBD and the 1 the amount of THC. It is best to combine the two to get an entourage effect. As healing as both are and more powerful when used together, there can be a slight psychotropic effect from the THC which could result in being tired. This medicine is highly personal and it might take a few tries to find what combination is most helpful for you. Is what you are taking organic, has it been third party tested, do you know what carrier is being used/how the oil was extracted? All of these answers could make a difference. It is really important to do research and ask many questions if you are using herbal medicine. It is always recommended to go slow and low, especially when starting. I wish you the best of health and respect that you are seeking remedies from this sacred plant.
There are medical professionals (clinics) that are trained in dosing and will be able to help you with any questions you might have.

I hope you are working with a medical professional who understands the dosing. "Lowest dose available" doesn't mean much. My husband takes Cbd, and there are different formulas. The dose he took at first, was just a small drop...I think 1 ml. And as others have said, Cbd is not medical marijuana.

@kittyloo, @nana59 I totally agree Ms Kitty. There are many differetn strains due to plant material. Ms Nana, wherever you are purchasing hopefully in a store, ask for some assistance. If you're in a state where MMis legal, go to a shop for assistance. There are tons of folks out there who can help and advise.

Our state just passed the Medical Pot bill last night. Hard for me to believe. I'm sure our governor will ruin the whole bill.
When I had Shingles I was vaping CBD Oil. It made me relaxed but at times I felt like I had more energy???
