Hi people! Did the treadclimber for 30"/1.5 mi. and the treadmill 14"/ 1 mi. Wishing everyone a safe and warm next couple of days. P Patti ~ Wishing you a safe trip back. I worry about all the early am runners/walkers/bikers. My sister's acquaintance was running the other week (in DC area) and was killed by a hit and run driver. She was a single mom with two kids.....Please be careful out there! Smile

I didn't know she was a single mom. I knew she had 2 kids, I saw her facebook page. So sad.

I pulled my calf muscle while running down the stairs this morning...ugh!!!!{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}{#emotions_dlg.mad} I've been rubbing it and stretching it out. Not sure if I should do class or not...I have to decide so I can sign up.

I went and the calf wasn't the problem, where I broke my wrist during the bike accident is giving me fits!!! I had to do push-ups, burpees, and mountain-climbers on my knuckles...can't bend my wrist like that.{#emotions_dlg.glare}

Did two of my all-outs at an 8.5, just worked my way up and was careful to see if I felt any pain. I started out slow though...5.5 for my base and worked my way up depending upon how my calf was feeling.

bopper, we did jumping squats but I didn't do them as fast as I normally do. A little stiff anyway from driving 4 hours in the snow and trying to hold Lucy down at the same time, plus I'm sore from doing them at my son and dil's house on Monday. My hip-flexors were really tight today...from driving. Row segments were terrible today...ugh...so happy when that round was up. I could really feel my back and forearms from taking a week off.

Took Lucy out for a couple of miles then I've been going to town. Taking a break right now then I'll head up and do bedsheets. I've cleaned, wrapped packages and mailed them, paid bills, made phone-calls, filed, shredded, vacuumed, etc...almost back to normal.

Sun is back out...yay!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} Had another band of snow come through this morning, some people got another inch! It was unexpected.

Gazelle ~ The treadclimber is really DH's.....I only use it when I am injured. It really kicks butt while being low impact. The only thing it doesn't do is work the upper body and arms.

Patti ~ Oh no, you injured your calf, and now the wrist?? Too many owies! My sister went to the law firm were the lady runner had worked as her emails hadn't been returned. That's when she found out about the tragic accident, and was told that she had been a single mom. The firm ended up raising 100K for the kids.

I did the usual 30"/1.5 mi. on the treadclimber and a 13" mi. on the treadmill. My foot is at about 70% and I have a chiro appointment today. I am thrilled that at least I am not hobbling like an old lady right now. One day at a time...I have no patience as I am a spazy hard-headed aries {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}.

Doing a quick check-in from work. Have been without a computer since last Saturday and not sure if I'll get it back before this Saturday! ACK!!! It's so hard to be without it.

Haven't had a chance to read any posts - was out sick from work Monday and yesterday - but hope to catch up soon.

Waving to everyone!

No, bopper, I was not bringing it today. I felt terrible...it was a bad day for me personally on top of it being a super hard work-out. My heart-rate was very high today, legs felt like lead, I'm sore from yesterday, I got stuck with the 12-lb MB for Russian Twists with Slams because I was too late getting over to grab one so the 8's and 10's were gone, my lower back hurt on the rowers, it was hot in there...blah, blah, blah. You get the picture.

Not even one of those work-outs where you feel good once you're done. I had to get groceries and wasn't feeling well...very shaky, heart palpitations, felt like my asthma was bothering me...ugh!!! I know, you guys probably want to call the "WAAAHmbulance". {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Plank jacks on the Boso Ball were the easiest thing we did...I remember thinking while doing them that at least I can catch my breath and I might do more than the circuit required just so I can rest.

Well, tomorrow's a new day! Lucy is whining to go out so I guess I'll take her for a quickie...I ate and feel a little better.

Waving to everyone! Sorry to be a downer but I'm just keepin' it real.Wink The only "BOOM" I had today was me hitting the ground at minute 61.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Yep, bopper, the Treadclimber is motorized, just like a treadmill.
