Not superstitious, but maybe a teeny bit?? Smiley Wink Bopper, snow on the ground still? It was nice this week, but cold front this weekend -- of course!! No snow, but so super windy and chilly! Nomless, sorry your post is gone. So annoying! Hope you have a good wknd!! Ok, dinner with hubby tonight, spin and weights and nothing else tmrw. Nothing!!!! Yay!! But I'm sure something will arise......Smiley Wink oh, WO - wise, I did incline treadmill and spin last night. My goodness, I was exhausted!!

Hi all, no workout for me today as I wasn't feeling at all good,,,tummy...but am better tonight.

FUTURE we have so much snow we can't even throw it any higher on our banks....to give you some idea....the Lake is all frozen over so hence the Cold Spring when it decides to get here will be cold through June...that's what they are saying anyways.

Tony I saw your page...and her post about collage...for some reason unknown to me I think she doesn't want to post over here....I can't remember what happened way back then...I would sure love to see her too.

Pppmint hoping DS and granddog are doing better but I know they are ( insert wink)

Judy are you walking?

Nomless it's snowing hard right now...

Waving to all!

Morning, checking in with Total Gym for 50 minutes. Feeling better but not 100% yet.

Tired of shoveling and snow...it's only 14 degrees and windy and snow up the gazoo....

I know i am way up in the North but even for us seasoned winter people it's getting to me.

Have a good day everyone!

Bopper, you're doing great with your TG. As for me, 60 min cardio done.

Do you think 45 minutes of cardio per day is enough? That is what I am doing and just can not do an hour. I do do 15 minutes of strength training as well. They said on the news that women who did an hour of cardio a day had less breast cancer.

Gazelle, I don't have an answer for you, except to say way to go doing both cardio and weights. On weekends, I usually do 60 min cardio but dirung the week I don't have that much time. So I do 50 min dirung the week, jist over the 45 min mark. Maybe you could aim for 50 min?? Or, maybe a day or two a week, do lower intensity so you can go longer? Endurance days are valuable, too. Maybe others will have advice for you. I wish LA Trainer was still around, she'd know. Today I did 3 sets weights, forcing myself to use the same weight I was using before Christmas. It was hard, but I did it. Am happy I pushed myself.

Thanks for your ideas! Yes, I am going to aim for an hour, slowly adding more time the stronger I get. I do not use weights but use resistance training with rubber tubing and springs. I am not a fanatic about working out, but, just want a well rounded healthy lifestyle. Thanks again for your input!

Hi everyone!

Just stopping in to say "hi". I'm still in PA but will probably drive home on Tuesday, was thinking of heading out tomorrow before the storm but don't think it will work. It shows only 3" of snow anyway so that will be okay...as long as there isn't any ice.

Work-outs?? Not much, too stressed and tired and didn't feel comfortable leaving Benny...yesterday I did something, can't even remember now. Oh, went for a quick run and did some weights and jump-rope.

Today...can't really say I worked-out. Took the dogs on a walk but had to go really slow with the grand-pup, he's still recovering and I didn't want to over-do it. I did some squats but have this weird pain coming back that I had when I fell and hurt myself in Va Beach...ay...please not that again!!! I felt it yesterday doing squats with the weights.

Hope everyone is okay!! Was thinking of cosmetics again. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Where is everyone??

I'm on hold so thought I'd check in. Grand-dog and ds are doing better so grandma is doing better...lol.

I don't know how many miles I did, but I did a few and then some. I did upper and core with weights then I did 100 squats and 100 lunges and most of them were jumping ones.

The sun is out and it's not near as windy and damp and gloomy so I took advantage of it. It was 14* when I first went out but it felt good in the sun. It's been so windy here so I'm enjoying today!

I am going to stretch, my calves are sore...I guess from jumping rope. Working on our move right now...so many forms to fill out...ugh. Not my cup of tea.

Hope everyone is having a great day!! I'm going to head home tomorrow...now they're saying we'll get 4" but it doesn't sound like the ice and mix so that I can deal with.
