Bopper ~ Patti's right, the treadclimber is motorized.

Patti ~ You are not a downer. It's amazing that you did a workout despite feeling cr*ppy - you go girl!

Did the usual 30" on the treadclimber and a slow 13"/mi. on the treadmill. I went to the chiro yesterday and I am done with sessions unless I have foot pain x 2-3 days. I told him, "Doc, if I never have to see you again, it will be a good thing!" He really wants me to push my workouts and use 2 lb. weights when I jog. I told him that I don't need weights as my big tookish is enough weight right now {#emotions_dlg.w00t}. Has anyone ever run with weights? The last time I did I was in high school and it really messed my back....

Patty, I know the feeling you described, when it's just so hard. It's weird how those off-days come out of nowhere. You'll be back in the groove soon...tomorrow, probably!

Hi, Bopper. Keep on thinkin' SPRING!

Hi, Mick, I hope that foot keeps getting better.

Tony and Judy and Canine, hi to you, too.

I've been busy and don't have any news really. It's mid-50's today, and we've gotten drizzle nearly all day. Now it's a nice, gentle rain. I'm thrilled. I bet the grass will be green in a day or two. This long slow rain will wake up the vegetation, I hope. There are no buds on the trees yet, but I bet they'll be there soon.

Tonight I might do one of the new DVDs I got from Collage. I'm still so sad they closed. The other site that was recommended is OK, but it doesn't have nearly as many reviews, so it will be more difficult to make wise DVD choices.

Have a great afternoon, everyone.

50 min cardio done. Tried to beat my PB on the elliptical, but I was 3 secs over. Gazelle, I thought of you when I wanted to stop at 45 min, but I pushed and got those last 5min done, LOL.

MickD, I've always been told not to run or power-walk with weights....not good for you, and yes, it can mess up your back. I've been told and read that you should devote your energy to running when you're running and your energy and form to weights when doing weights...when you combine them, you're not doing justice to either one. I've read this in many health and fitness magazines as well as had personal trainers say the same thing. In special cases it's okay...if you can only go really slow walking, adding in 2-lb weights isn't going to hurt you unless you have upper back issues. I'm sure someone else will tell you something different though.Wink

Waving to all, I'm heading to the gym. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Morning, super snowy here and schools are closed, roads are a mess and nomless I am so jealous of you saying the word "grass" {#emotions_dlg.laugh}We have mounds and mounds of snow and banks and no bare anything...another storm for next Tuesday...

Anyways, checking in with my Intermed. workout on the TG. I felt it was more upper body and core than lower but it was decent and I had to go quite low on some exercises as my left arm has that tendonitis in it but I was huffing and puffing....warmed up on the treadmill.

MickD and Pppmint thanks for telling me about the TC. Hubby thought it was not motorized and I told him I thought it was but wanted to get it correct.

Pppmint How is the calf? Hope you do OK today..but even when you say you didn't do as good as you would have liked we know you did better than most!

Judy glad your Puter is back...good to see you here.

Canine where are you?

Tony it's Friday...............are you getting the storm...I know you had high winds.

Gazielle...hi and waving.

My granddaughter will be here this afternoon so I have to pick her up at school at noon...hoping the snow plow doesn't fill in my driveway before i have to leave....

Have a great day!

Morning, yesterday was slow here, I am following myself!

Total gym lower body workout with Abs....still loving my machine...for me personally it was a good purchase. The dvd's are very good too.

Sunny here today after the blast of new snow we have. If you could see our snowbanks up the driveway...can't throw the snow any higher...

Had fun with GD yesterday, we made a snow fort and threw snowballs to Logan. Oh we also made cake pops...she loved that! She had more frosting on her face than on the cake pop and we laughed a lot.

Waving to all

Getting a pedicure...in dire need of one too.

I had my best distance run this morning since I've been here. I can tell killing myself at OTF four days a week is paying off. I felt like I could have gone further too but had on old cross trainers because it was pouring out and I didn't want to ruin a good pair, could feel my feet aching so reigned myself in.

I was full of mud and soaking wet when I got home but was on Cloud 9!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} I need to go without Lucy and dh more often because I can go at my own speed so I feel better and can go further. I really felt like old times today, hope it wasn't just a fluke.

Have a great day everyone!! Walmart after I leave here...ay.
