Judy, I hope today is a better day. At least it's Friday!

Patty, good job, as usual. I hope Lucy enjoyed her run, too.

Hi, Bopper, I went over to Collage to see if prices had dropped on things that were regular price on Wed. I was surprised to see that there's very little left. I'm still so sad, but I suppose we'll learn to like totalfitnessdvds.....but there are fewreviews there. That's a bummer.

Hey, Mick, it's great that your foot is feeling better.

I'm planning on doing cardio tonight, but I might have to work late again. Sigh.

50 min cardio done. It was hard. I was happy I was the only one there. Maybe the others are back outside now and I'll have the gym to myself again.

Morning! I had a rough night(up worrying and praying about my son) so I was quite the slacker this morning and it felt good...was so nice not to get right up and get dressed. Dh took care of Lucy and then we both drank coffee, watched the news and played on our tech devices...Lucy and dh were in heaven!

I really think I needed it too. I almost took today off because I've worked-out so hard this past week...but I decided to go with dh and Lucy at the last minute and ended up having a great run. Even with all the hills and being over-dressed. Hard to believe they're calling for another snow-storm here...you'd never know today!

I would have done more but even Lucy was hot and I didn't bring her syringe or water bowl so I turned back with her and dh went further. But I averaged 10-min miles even with the hills and walking twice(I know that's not fast but given the circumstances and I wasn't trying to go fast, I was happy)...today wasn't a "speed" day at all(recovery run) so I was pleasantly surprised with my time when I saw it.

Waving to everyone!!! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Hi, all. Well, I C-R-A-N-K-E-D it today!! I was tired before I even went into spin class. I know I burned at least 800 cals. I lifted for 30 mins before class, and didn't stop for one second. Just went from one exercise to the other, then spin. Had a family party afterwards, and had a fun time. As I was walking the stairs to get DH to leave, my legs already hurt, and it had only been an hour! Eek! I think I'll do the Pilates machine tmrw to stretch out. Smiley Wink Hubby and I have church tmrw, then coffee tmrw evening with a friend. Time for a nap between. Smiley Wink Patty, sounds like you had a great run!! Nomless, good job on cardio and weights. Good to get back into it, huh? Smiley Wink Bopper, way to go on the TG. Guess you're liking it?? Ok, I have a LOT of DVR'ed shows to get caught up on tonight. I'm seeing an early bedtime in my future.....Smiley Wink Hubby and I are still fighting allergies, so we've been wiped out from the week. Have a great night, all!

Off topic post....

My old laptop is an XP system that doesn't have the horsepower to run Win 7 or 8. Support for XP ends next month, so I had to get a new laptop. Did so last week and got a couple of Win 8 books so I'd know what to expect.

I set up new laptop yesterday, and so far I'm loving it, and I even like Win 8. The reading I did ahead of time was so helpful. I got a laptop with a touch screen...love that interface.

What a relief. I worried all week about getting the new system going, so I'm happy to be up and running. I still have a lot to learn about Win 8, but I'm on my way. Love all the things it can do and the ease of maintenance, etc.

60 min cardio done. It was super hard today. I was going slow but my heart was racing. Don't know what the problem was.
