I just started doing this a couple of times a week with the spray, first I apply coconut oil on the area first, then spray so that it doesn't itch.  I use Spectrum coconut oil for hair and skin.

I have read that most people are deficient in magnesium and that occasionally eating foods with magnesium isn't enough. I also bought magnesium oil from Amazon hoping it would help with sleep, but it makes my skin itch like crazy! Curious to hear about others' experiences.

As already suggested, just rinse the residue off after about 20 minutes. That gives the magnesium time to be absorbed. - So apply it about 20-30 minutes before you go to bed to allow time to rinse it off.
