In all the articles I've read about Baby Joseph, the little soul from Canada who has come to the U.S., I've not seen it mentioned what disease he has. Well, I tracked it down and he has Machado-Joseph Disease. This is an inherited disease, so there must be others in his family who have had this disease also. It is sometimes called Azore Disease. And, as we have read, there is no cure. It is a neuromuscular disease.

This whole thing is just so very sad .... my heart aches for those parents. Not only do they have to deal with the inevitable passing of their little son, but with the press and all the focus placed on them.

They need our prayers desperately.
