Been reading about results for arthritis, anyone take them for this, did it help?

I have. It didn't work for me.

I do take MSM mixed with Glucosomine, a shellfish free formula. I dont think of it as a miracle cure, I also take several other supps for my arthritic knee. As a whole, my pain is minimal. Others highly recommended for joint health are boswellia, mangosteen, tart cherry, tumeric, ginger, and most of all UC Collagen II

@Shelbelle @goldensrbest I found collagen to give me the best relief, but only the one with MSM. I ordered it without it once by mistake, and within a week felt the knee pain come back. I ordered bulk MSM, (NOW brand) and added it to my morning drink. It helped brink the pain back under control.
Chrondroitin and glucosamine never did anything for me. @Shelbelle do you take all the other supplements you mentioned separately or have you found a good multi mix anti inflammatory?

I am ashamed to admit it but, yes, I do take all the ones I mentioned seperately, when you mix them most often the potency is not nearly as high enough to be effective. And some of these also have other benefits besides arthritis help. My ortho doc says I am not a candidate for knee replacement surgery, he says keep weight down, exercise and take whatever supps you may find helpful. So, I went for it 100% !!! Read about UC Collagen II, this one is most highly recommended.

@Shelbelle Don't be ashamed about the number of suppements you take. If you could see the trough of what that I take daily, you would wonder how I have time to do anything else in my day. lol
I will read about the collagen you mentioned, but I must admit that my knee pain is gone. I could not kneel down before starting it. It was just one knee and I would have to hold that leg out straight to get down on the floor to do things for my dog. That is gone. Of course, the added benefit to hair and nails is nice. ![]()

If anyone is interested in trying the UC Collagen II, please see the post here from a few days ago to me from Starpolisher, my answer to her will tell what I buy and just bought. It is pricey and what we just ordered is a great price. If you have not yet read about UC II, please read up on first before buying, comes highly recommended by Arthritis Assn, that is how I found out about it.
