My BIL had one then had a heart attack shortly after.  The artery in his heart was clogged,  Why didn't this screening show that?

The Lifeline artery screening is for carotid arteries, the arteries in your neck which can lead to a stroke if they become clogged.

For coronary artery screening, the following info might be helpful:

The ONLY way they have to look at coronary arteries in to do a cardac cath. They are not looked at in lifeline screenings. Lifeline screenings look at your carotid arteries - they go to your brain- your abdominal aorta to be sure you don't have an aneurysm and the circulation to your extremities.
