PRICE COMPARISONS

Unfortunately, I don't have the listings for the regular daily Procaps Labs prices, so I can't provide a price comparison. -- In the past, Procaps has kept up the regular prices, so I had been able to access them (but they didn't do it this time).

My sense is that the ChocoNuvo bottles are probably around 30% off of the regular Procaps prices, because the TS prices are frequently 30%-40% of of the regular Procaps prices (but I can't be sure). -- Does anyone happen to know what the regular Procaps prices are for ChocoNuvo (I don't use it). 

In the past, these have been the prices for the 360 capsule sizes for the other two products: 

* 360 Liver & Brain capsules - $54.50

* 360 Liver Antioxidants - $89.90 or maybe $99.90

Also, for a long time, the Liver & Brain plus the Liver AntiOxidants capsules had been available as a bundle (though I'm not sure if that had been discontinued recently) but I don't remember what the bundle special pricing was (though in the larges size, it was generally $15-20 off of the combined regular prices).

My thoughts on the PC Liver & Brain and Liver Antioxidant capsules TS values...

360 capsules of the Liver Antioxidants would cost $82.35, so I'm guessing that the regular daily price for 360 capsules is probably either $89.90 or $99.90. 

The 360 PC Liver & Brain capsule size has been $54.90 forever, and I tend to think that that price probably still holds (but I can't be sure). -- If this is the case, then the 480 capsule TS size is 33% off of the regular pricing. 

I think the value is really for in the bundle, but it's really only a good value IF you use both of the products regularly.

From my perspective phosphotidyl choline (PC) is an absolute must in everyone's vitamin regimen, while the Liver Antioxidants ar more of an add on AFTER you've been using 10-15 of Andrew's more important supplement.

PC (phosphotidyl choline) is a must. Two-thirds of the liver membranes are phosphotidyl choline and our liver is the body's primary detoxification organ (in addition to the kidneys). The PC molecule is somewhat special in that it facilitates easy transit in and out of the liver because one side of the molecule allows water to pass through while the other side allows fats to pass through. -- PC is also the primary phospholipid in the brain (although about 60% of the brain is DHA Omega-3). 

That said, a much better PC value at Procaps is are the PC granules. -- 360 servings are $90. Each serving provides 1,000mg PC, while each PC capsule (two capsules per serving) only provide 220mg PC. -- Additionally, the PC granules also provide extremely generous servings of phosphatidyl ethanolamine and phosphatidyl inositol. Also, it provides 25mg of Phosphsatidyl Serine which is a crazy expensive supplement.

Some folks have complained about the taste of the PC granules, but I think they taste just fine. They have a slightly taste.

I take 3 servings of PC granules a day because one of the reps eventually told me that that is how much Andrew takes daily. Evidently, Andrew feels that PC is hugely important, and I think this makes sense. Of course, this is just me (and Andrew *s*). lol, of course, I'm the Procaps girl that takes 3 grams (3,000mg) of Omega-3s daily using the Nordic Naturals liquid Omega-3s which are just as good but much cheaper -- Andrew only takes 1 gram (1,000mg) of Omega-3s daily, I just happen to disagree with him based on my research. -- I generally follow Andrew's guidelines with regard to supplement consumption... with the exception of these two fat supplements.

Any number of times Andrew has said the one serving of the PC granules daily is just fine, and that's a great way to go.

I utilized this visit to restock his Breast Health Supplement.  The cost for the180 count bottle was $20.00 less, than what was posted earlier in the week. HSN had also sent me  a $10.00 off coupon when you spend $20.00 or more. Right there I saved $30.00, and then add on the free shipping.

It was a win-win for me.

I watched his Variety show last night. I was a little disappointed. I wish that he would have showcased the vitamins that do not get that much air time. It seemed to me that most of the one's featured were the one's that are already offered as TS specials throughout the year.

DH and I prefer Dark Chocolate so we tried the 74% ChocoNuvo the last time AL was on.   We know what to expect with a darker chocolate, that it shouldn't be sweet like a milk chocolate, but the flavor of the ChocoNuvo had a bitter, funky aftertaste - definitely not worth the $90 bucks I spent (made each piece cost 50cents).  I always needed a glass or water or iced tea as a chaser.  I can find other dark chocolate options elsewhere for a more reasonable price.  Fortunately, I'm still in the return period and it's going back.  LIve and learn.

@willdob3 I dropped the largest size of each one into my cart and the price adjusted at that time. Maybe it would be easier if they did just show the bundles  on the system like they do on the TV.

@JeanLouiseFinch I tried the  66% because I was worried about it being too bitter. That was a good choice for me. It really was very close to a milk chocolate flavor and soooo creamy, it was the perfect satisfying little snack. I even lost a couple pounds because it is so satisfying. I don't know yet if that will help my cholesterol but I will have that checked in a few months. I ordered again because any other chocolate  I've found now does not live up to this one for me. I still have the Cholesta Care caps and will use those with a few meals a day since my cholesterol was a smidge high. (enough that my Dr. gave me the "concerned chat".) I know it's kind of pricey so if there are no other benefits I'll have to see if Im williing to reorder.

Wow. I wonder if you got a bad batch or something. I never liked dark chocolate for just that reason. It always tasted bitter and left a bad aftertaste, but I tried the 74% last year for the first time and wouldn't be without it now. This had none of the things that I never liked about dark chocolate, and there is no question that it has dropped my cholesterol numbers dramatically! Sorry to hear about your experience.
