I have tried this and like it very much.  I actually do use this to shampoo after a time or 2 using WEN to clarify.  WEN totally weighs my hair down but I do like it for conditioning.

Re: Lessman Phact soap

[ Edited ]

@bargainsgirl I have never used pHact as a shampoo, but do love it as a bar soap at the kitchen sink and guest bathroom. Guests say it leaves their hands so, so soft. I use a Perlier bar soap in my bathroom.

He recently had a special on his pHact soap and I got three of the Unscented, Peppermint, and Cucumber. Those nine bars should last me a long time!

"pHact is a soap-free, moisture-rich, rigorously tested cleansing bar that won't dry or irritate your skin. Its gentle plant-based formula is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and can be used to clean the body, hands, hair, and face."

Love Lessman products, and he knocked it out of the park with this bar soap.

His overall rating/review on his website (ProCaps) for the bar soap is 4.9 out of 5.

@bargainsgirl I agree. We love this soap. But, I would never try it on my hair. I have very dry curly colored hair, it kind of scares me to use a bar soap on it.

@cjm61  I would never have thought to use a bar soap on hair; actually, didn't even know that they have bar soaps specifically for hair until I read it about it somewhere.

Last week when I was at the grocery store, I asked one of the shelf-stockers about it, and she showed me their full line of bar soaps for hair.  Dang! It is a thing! ha!

So I purchased one of them to see how that works. I got the Take Haven Balance and Soothe Shampoo Bar in the lavender and eucalyptus scent. Absolutely LOVE it! It leaves my hair and scalp so, so clean. It lathers up so easily/quickly.

So, I have inserted it into my rotation of regular shampoos: Aveda, Perlier, T'weaked, and Nexxus.

I tried his sample. It was too difficult to lather for me.

Love trying his new things, though.

I keep my cabinet with his supplements always closed. If anyone sees it, they're horrified. To say it's a lot is a misnomer!

Re: Lessman Phact soap

Have given review here before guess it was under something about "Shower Gels" and wrote that I ordered the Peppermint scent  after receiving a small sample of Andrew Lessman  original  "Phact" liked it,skin was so soft, plus knowing it doesn't have all those chemicals that can be found in shower gels.Did place an order for his new scent "Hint of Cucumber " was extended delivery but will wait gladly for it to come.

Another reason is since using have had no outbreaks you know where ,don't want to go into details. I can live without bubbles bubbles and more bubbles after years of using gels.  I  know if Andrew made it a lot of research has gone into it.To me this falls under "Clean Beauty" for sure.

My last order was from HSN with free sh and I ordered the 3 pack of unscented. With it was a free sample of the new cucumber which has a mild scent unlike mint which I did not care for.

I think I'll try to wash my hair with it but it seems like it wold be near impossible unless someone has chihuahua hair. Smiley Very Happy

I like it too, it's makes a nice thick lather, leaves my skin feeling soft-clean & works great on my colored fine thick short hair...I ordered the unscented set of 12 travel bars when they were on sale, will purchase again.

I have chin length hair and I find that this lathers so nicely and rinses well.  I do use a conditioner after usually what's left of my Tweaked or I also use WEN as a conditioner but I do rinse it out.  Works great!
