After my father had his stroke I wish I had purchased this. I found something similar but this would have been better. We wanted to keep the circulation going thru his body and while he was mobile --he was not as mobile as he had been prior to the stroke. 
He wore compression stocking each day as well to help with circulation.

He has passed now.

We have a stationary bike that we ride each day for about 8-10 miles if not more.

We know of someone who had something similar and each day at work used this and lost some weight.

I would think that there are health benefits to the item. But perhaps speak to your doctor to see what they think of it.
