I'm always looking at good protein sources and saw these bars coming up ...

It's called a "complete meal" bar ... but only has 7 grams of protein.

Seven grams of protein is now a complete meal?  Since when?  Woman Surprised

I know they have a lot of good reviews but I found them pretty awful tasting.  And they satisfied my hunger for about an hour.

Haven't tried the bars--and I won't--but tried his "meal replacement" drinks.  While they tasted OK, in no way did they replace a meal--LOL!!

I have tried all three of the flavors for the Secure Bars. Love them all! I purchase them frequently.

They satisfy my hunger, are not high in sugar, and have enough grams of protein for me for a meal.

The chocolate ones I put in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds, and then have them as a dessert, with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Yummy!

The peanut butter ones are excellent, full of nuts.

My favorite is the coconut. I purchased six boxes of those last month and just received them earlier this week. Good thing, as I only had a few of the bars left, and needed to get some more.

I make sure there are a couple in my car, one in my purse, etc., so I have something nutritious with me in case I need some protein throughout the day.

@Tinkrbl44 I have them and love them. My favorite is the chocolate one. For me, 7 grams of protein is enough. I actually purchase the larger size and eat 1/2 of one prior to my workout and the other 1/2 after. I drink a glass of water with them and they definitely fill me up.

I eat plenty of protein with my afternoon snack and dinner so the amount of protein in the bars works for me. Plus, I don't do well when I consume a lot of protein at once.

I highly recommend them.

@Tinkrbl44 I questioned the 7g as well for a meal replacement. As I'm reading through the replies, I think @World Traveler made a good point to keep them handy when and if you are caught hungry without wanting to stop and get something fast. I know I always keep something in my car that I can grab with water for that reason. Also, ice cream or whipped cream and microwaving the chocolate one sounds like YES to me lol, as a dessert!

Then I really like how @cjm61 uses it for workouts. I always eat/drink something small before working out too. After working out I do like some protein. So I think that's also a great way to eat something sweet, with protein, but not a lot of sugar.

For me, I don't like sweet things as meal replacements, but I definitely can use them as a sweet replacement if I end up enjoying them. I'm going to try all three flavors because I can't decide and they all sound yummy! Thanks for mentioning this!

@Bookplate  I bought them one time and they were awful. In fact, I got sick eating them and had to toss them in the trash. Something in the ingredients didn't set well with me.

@elated   if you got bloating or an upset stomach it may be the soy protein he uses in his bars. It causes me the same symptoms.

I like Premier Protein or Fairlife protein drinks, especially the chocolate. 30g protein, full of what I need, and 130-150 calories.

I am a Lessman fan and take his vitamins and drink his Secure meal replacement as a shake daily.  I add a banana to mine and it keeps me full for several hours.   I also take his supplements.  I truly believe in his products.  I always keep a couple of bars with me and it has saved me and DH more than a couple of times.  DH gets hypoglycemic at times and these will carry him over for an hour or two easily.
