I have been pretty active on my newly resurfaced knee this past couple weeks due to a death in the family - Christmas and doing my water aeroboics 3 days a week. I am quite pleased because it seldom hurts at all just occasional achy but I notice when I an running around all day and my leg is down in a normal position - not elevated - it swells fairly badly. It has been 6 weeks and I thought that was sorta odd. Especially since the doctor told me to walk as much as I could on it.I have an appt with the doc late next week but I was wondering if it was normal for these surgeries to swell like this? It goes down while I sleep but if I'm active during the day it swells way up again.
