They had a surgery cancellation so they called me in an hour early. They got me on the gurney, hooked up the IV and wheeled me into the operating room. We were talking about diplomas, and the next thing I knew, it was over and I was awake!

I wasn't loopy or did not shake when I woke up. That was my worst fear was the awful feeling coming out of the anesthesia. I sat up and drank water and they gave me some crackers.

I was out of there 30-45 minutes later feeling just fine and walking on my own. All of the x rays and MRIs showed nothing, and I kept telling the doctors there was something wrong so my doctor told me he might not find anything. People would see me limping and would ask me what was wrong, and I had to say "nothing"! HA!

Well, he found something! I had a lateral meniscus tear and it is fixed! My little dog was right in her diagnosis! I have to go to PT tomorrow and can't believe how good I feel. It was a piece of cake and should have done it long ago. Thanks for all the positive thoughts!
