How much lemon juice are you putting in your water? Others have said they use lemon juice in water but don’t say how much. I’d sure like to use enough.
I sometimes have done a tablespoon or 2 in the evenings with matching amounts of ACV and a little Stevia in tea or water. I actually like the taste of it.
If you're seeing a doctor, I would recommend finding out if there's anything specific that they want you to follow regarding the lemon juice.
I was told to use as much as I could tolerate, mixed with water. So, it was left up to me to determine how much to use.

@Teddie I buy Lakewood or Santa Cruz organic pure lemon juice (not the RealLemon concentrate in the green bottle) or fresh lemons. I use about 2 Tablespoons of juice to 8 oz. or so of warm water. I drink it with a straw, to keep the acid off my teeth, and follow up with a second glass of plain water and swish it around my teeth before swallowing.
@JeanLouiseFinch Thank you for that wonderful, detailed answer! You are super!
You're very welcome, @Teddie . Your "cocktail" is healthy and good for you. Keep it up! As for the timing, I've read that starting the day with a glass of warm lemon water is good for rehydrating from overnight water loss so that's what I do. It sort of wakes up the digestive system and provides other benefits as well. I've tried adding the ACV, but don't like the taste so I went to capsules for that, for now. I need to work on training myself to tolerate the taste. 😊

I had my lemon in water this morning, @JeanLouiseFinch , instead of at night before I read this from you. I’ve been having lower back achiness
so just to try to do the right things I’m going to do this in the morning. Gotcha on the taste of the ACV 😀

Thank you for your considerate thoughts, @Toppers3 , but my doctor would not be knowledgeable on something like this. I have come to realize I know far more than she on the subject of how to take care of my health. All she does is recommend drugs, and I’m not going down that road. I’m actually so disgusted with my last visit I am seriously considering finding someone else. That’s not easy to do but it’s been on my mind.

You say you know more than your doctor about your health, I am paraphrasing! Thinking about getting a new doctor, and while you are thinking a serious medical event is in the making?
Time to get it done, just my opinion for what it's worth.
When I got to know more about my satellite provider than DirecTV Techs and their own equipment? I switched to Dish Network, 15 years ago, and have never regretted my decision to do so.

Thank you, @hckynut , I know you’re saying this out of concern. Appreciate ya.
@Toppers3 had suggested I run the lemon water and such past my doctor. I meant that I knew she wouldn’t know anything about that. I have found that many doctors don’t know about nutrition and vitamin usage. It is possible for us lay people to know more about that topic than an M.D. My doctor only knows to prescribe drugs and it’s possible there are other answers.
