Re: Injection In hip/arthritis

Hello!! @Mom2Dogs

Sooo remember I told you about Castor Oil for your husbands plugged ear?!?!

Well we initially bought the bottle for my husbands right knee that he hurt when he fell. X-rays showed no fracture or break (thank goodness) but he was still in a lot of pain.

He started rubbing some Castor Oil on it and NO More Pain!! It took a couple weeks to work, but need I say priceless. ⭐️

After some time is when he tried it in his ear for itching and immediately it worked for that! Versus the prescription from the Dermatologist that did nothing to help his itchy ear.

Give the Castor Oil a try for your husbands hip!!
Can’t hurt any and you said you have the good Organic kind in the glass bottle already. 🤗🤗🤗

Re: Injection In hip/arthritis

@Mom2Dogs - I have gotten the shot for arthritis in my hip. I took maybe a day or so before I felt the true effect. Did your husband receive some of the exercises to do? My ortho dr gave me a sheet with them listed and how to do them.

Re: Injection In hip/arthritis

Medicare will pay for the gel shot every 6 months in the knee, unsure about the hip, that may be different.

Heritage Store has a roll on 100% Castor Oil, I may give that a try, thanks for the suggestion, nothing to lose, on sale now at Vitacost.

Re: Injection In hip/arthritis

@riley1   The doctor gave no exercises.  His shot was on Friday, Saturday he was still babying the area and moved wrong and think he pulled a muscle well above his knee...I have disovered I am not a compassionate caregiver...currently sympathy is in short supply.

If I hear him sigh again, I will implode.

@Mom2Dogs - I have always been honest with my kids and husband - you have me for 24 hrs - I'm not Florence Nightingale after that.
