@Desertdi Yikes! I hope you don't decide to run errands too.

@GingerHead  Actually, the doctors tell me I have the brain of someone who  has smoked for 40 yrs! I don't smoke! I tried it once at 16 and it made me half sick so that was it for smoking. While my brain scan was shocking to me at first...I have come to grips with it with God's help.

I think that is pretty common for many people. I wouldn't worry too much @GingerHead

I think when we are all juggling a lot of balls, as we do at this time of year, it's easier to forget things.

I had a Christmas luncheon today,  grabbed a package off my front porch before I left.  It was skin care from QVC, and I put it in my bathroom.

when I got home, I saw a delivery notice on my phone from USPS, that they had left a package on my front porch.  I opened the door, and there was nothing there.  I started worrying that something had been stolen while I was out.   Then I went into my bathroom, and there it was!😂

@september

That is hilarious! You're right about juggling many balls this time of year!

Thanks for the funny!

I've actually done the thing where you wonder where your glasses are and they are on my head or face!-maybe not such a good thing lol!  but you know what-I don't really worry about my brain- it's never boring that's for sure.

I chalk it up to being tired, and so many things to think about-lovely things, worrisome things, sad things, planning things, who to call and tell them you love them, all kinds of things!  And that as Martha would say is a very good thing!

@on the bay

I do that with my glasses all the time!

I like the way you think, that's a very positive attitude to have...

you're right, aren't we lucky to have so many things to think/ "worry" about it's better than having nothing for sure. I'm gonna change my attitude.

By the way, I agreed with you the other night so much I just had to sit on my hands and not respond but it was hard not to!

@jubilant

Wow, now that would be shocking to hear.

I'm sorry.

You sound like you have a very good attitude about it all.

Worrying and stressing only stresses you out more and that's not what you need....just onward and forward with positive energy! Do your doctor's recommend word puzzles or mental exercises to help? I wonder if something like that could be helpful....

You take care! Woman Happy

Re: I'm sort of worried about my brain....

 @GingerHead   Yes, crossword puzzles was mentioned and I like doing them! My medications are important and we bought a very loud alarm clock that you can hear all over the house (one end to the other) so I don't forget my meds. You can choose a rooster, trumpets, siren, etc. DH and I get a kick out of it.  We still laugh whenever it goes off...which is twice a day. I also        write a lot of things down so a pad and pencil are always near me.

Well it sounds like you are doing good!

And your alarm clock sounds like a Hoot (does it make owl sounds too?haha).

You and your DH sounds like us, I think we would get a big kick out of that as well....it's fun and healthy to be silly and laugh a lot too!!!

You just keep it up! Wishing you so well.
