I have been having many symptoms that made me see my OBGYN last week. Bleeding for 27 days with a few days here and there in between is just one of them. She took a biopsy and said that there was a piece of a polyp in the biopsy sample and said that she wants to take a closer look at my uterus. I have been having discomfort, weight gain (with no change in my eating or exercising), fatigue (loss of blood is probably why), tenderness in my arm pit area and breasts . . . I really feel out of control and not myself lately. The biopsy really hurt---it felt like I was being cut. And I am pretty tough. I gave birth to my son with no pain medications at all---just an advil afterwards. I am nervous about the procedure and wondered if anyone who has had this might want to share their experience. Or, if anyone has had polyps or fiberiods. Thank you in advance!

By the way, it took me a while to get to the doctor because my husband was traveling for work and I care for my 5 yr. old son, we had two family funerals that came up, and my son got strep throat. I feel the need to tell you this because my regular doctor (whom I saw the same day as my OBGYN) was SO VERY judgemental that I had not seen the doctor before then. Sigh. Just what I needed, right?
