I'll be having my hysterectomy tomorrow afternoon. My insurance would not allow an overnight stay but my doctor said I could go home the next morning. It is a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I spent the day cleaning my closet and getting rid of things that are just "clutter". It is a liberating feeling.
My husband has started on his Sandostatin injections for his carcinoid cancer. I give him a shot twice daily for two weeks and then he will start on monthly injections thereafter. It seems to be working. The diarrhea that has plagued him for so long seems to be subsiding.
Still no word when his job layoff will happen. We will take it as it comes!
