@magicmoodz Veggies are my favorite food group. I eat a lot of them, but my husband does not. He barely touches them.
So, I still have to cook and bake for him. He eats everything that I can't and has a big sweet tooth and snacks constantly on junk.
He is thin and has been this way his whole life and I struggle with weight since my first pregnancy.

These guys! My husband too has a sweet tooth. He is neither thin nor chubby😃 but just right in my eyes.👀 I guess cheesecake doesn't go to their hips like it does for me. Haha!
I love veggies roasted, but lately I have been very lazy just having a wedge of lettuce with pineapple vinegar. And I don't normally buy iceberg lettuce, but have had a bad experience with both spinach and baby arugula recently. It didn't involve bugs, but I have to tell you, I have not eaten a strawberry since you educated me on what might be lurking inside of them.

I would be very interested in the strawberry story please as occasionally I like to buy bags of frozen organic strawberries.

@Teddie You really don't wanna know. Let's just say they are a fruit that need to be cleaned throughly and if you are vegan, you might not want to eat them.
Nothing dangerous. They are safe to eat. Enjoy.

@Carmie : I was intrigued by the strawberry wash and actually did it. My strawberries were very clean (Costco). I guess where they come from make a big difference.

All these years I have been eating strawberries and had no idea!! Thanks for the heads up @Carmie . I googled and was shocked (and I don't use that word lightly). Definitely will think twice about eating strawberries!🍓

@Carmie Well, you know I had to go to google and do some searching. I think my conclusion is: it depends. But it's enough that it bothers me. I always soak and wash fruits and vegetables and I wonder if it helps when they've been frozen. But I do appreciate learning something -- thank you!

@Teddie You're welcome. BTW, I still buy strawberries. I just wash them and soak them really good.
I am known for my chocolate covered strawberries.
