Wash your hands; wash your hands
wear a face mask (in case of sneeze droplets)
suck on a drop that at least claims to be sanitizing
do not eat after or drink after
hand wash all dishes first in hot water before washer

On the other hand...
a glass of wine and a brownie sounds good!

Try not to touch your face...any part of it, especially your eyes.

If a dish or piece of flatware leaves the cupboard it get washed before being put away again.
Our hot water heater is on the highest setting......I have to wear gloves so I don't burn my hands. I swear this helps. Sleep in a separate room also.

Change your pillowcases every day - every day - and wash the soiled ones in hot water. Even if you only have a cold - or often for no reason except to refresh - for your hair - due to facial moisturizers. I've become a 'bug' about pillowcases..freshly laundered percal. ZZZZ

I am a big believer in rubber gloves...have posted my thing about this but anyhoo...wear them and go around wiping down with those disposable disinfecting wipes. TV remote...door knob..light switches....fridge handle and so on. Then of course wash your hands and don't touch your face. If you have a mask (I do for allergies) heck I'd wear that LOL! And if at all possible do not sleep in the same room...coughing and gaging and sneezing all over the place in the air while you sleep. separate rooms if possible.

Many good suggestions. I have no idea if this works but I take Culturelle and ginger supplements (I guess more for warding off the stomach virus). So far so good warding off my daughter and her family's flu/stomach virus outbreaks. I watch my grandkids so I consider it a blessing from above that I wasn't hit with it. And yes, plastic gloves when delivering stuff to her house. My dr also said to crack the windows a bit .
