Can't believe it--on the 12th of Oct, 2022, I broke my right ankle---was pretty bad break--- my foot got hung up on inside my very wide yoga pant cuff and down I went onto the grocery bags I just dragged in!!! Was at home, alone when this happened--had to crawl from the door to the table where my cell was, prob 5 feet or so--thank gawd, I left the door unlocked. Had to call 911. Had surgery and p/t and am doing almost 100%--maybe 90% now, as I found out I have tiny bone fragments  floating around in there that sometimes make my foot hurt. Surgery required to remove them--but OMG----how time flies!!! Thinking back at how I managed to get thru it all amazes me at my donkey stubborness to make it happen. Did have my DD with me--we live together---but she was freaked out far worse than me. Ahh the memories!!!

It's amazing when you look back at a catastrophic event and wonder how you had the grit to get thru it.  Glad you are well.

@wagirl I am sorry that you need surgery again. Funny, I just mentioned the other day that I do not wear wide leg pants because I tripped and fell wearing them. They were D&C Beach Pants. My toe got caught up in the opposite pant leg and down I went. That was enough for me to always wear straight leg pants.

@conlt ---that is eactly how I fell---I had on flip flops that got caught up in the leg and  I fell, head first, onto the bags groceries--heard a big snap and then agonizing pain---I knew this was not going to be a good time!!! I do not wear wide leg anything anymore--😤
