I keep reading on various forums that a lot of women walk 3-5 miles a day. I simply can't fathom that! I'm 59 (ok, no spring chicken, I know!) and it's all I can do to stay on the treadmill 30 minutes at a moderate pace. I realize some of them are walking outdoors, but that's out for me with my severe allergies. I've been doing the treadmill for the past 5 years, watch my diet, in good health. If I had to stay on the treadmill for a solid hour, I'd be passed out cold! I'm really serious, how do you walk 3-5+ miles on a treadmill?????
