Has anyone had heart palpitations that lasted longer than two weeks? Mine have been on and off (mostly on) for about a month now. Went to the doctor and he said that my iron was low. Been taking two iron pills a day, in addition to my multiple vitamin with iron. I am still experiencing them. I know it takes at least 90 days for iron to kick in and my cells turnover, but my doctor didn't think my iron was low enough to cause palpitations. I had an EKG and that was normal. The next step would be to wear a halter heart monitor, however; with my new health insurance, I have not reached my deductible yet and cannot afford to pay the test myself since my husband fell off a ladder in July and we're still struggling with those bills. So my question is, did anyone else experience this and they went away on their own? I am not taking any herbal supplements that would cause this either. Thanks for your input.
