I've had 3 neck operations and take Percocet for chronic pain. Insurance requires generic, or you pay through the nose. The type of generic depends on what pharmacy you use. My CVS used to order a specific generic or me because it worked better and had less side effects. That brand is out of production, and I don't like what I am taking now. The pharmacist agrees that there can be differences in effectiveness and side effects, due to the fillers and the variation in the amount of the drug that's allowed in the generic. Just wondering what experiences you all have had using generics. I'm not a fan, but can't afford not to.
