I also broke my wrist and learned from the surgeon, most broken bones are caused by tripping over the dog. 

If the pain and temporary and possible permanent disability wasn't so much, there must be some humor in there somewhere.

Sorry you have to deal with this.  I can relate.  In December I tripped and broke my collar bone.  My arm was out of commission for 6 weeks.  I'm almost back to normal now but having to do everything left handed was a challenge.  Hope you heal quickly.

I broke both my wrists in two different incidents . The doctor said I was going to have problems later on from this fracture and he was so right ,  l have terrible pain in both my wrists now in the morning that gets better as the day goes on .
